NON-QUOTA VISA
NON-QUOTA VISA (13a) - is an Immigrant Visa. Application is made by the Filipino citizen spouse petitioning his/her foreign national lawful partner to have the resident status in the Philippines, same as for unmarried children below 21-years of age and for the natural born citizen of the Philippines who acquired foreign citizenship.

TWO STEP PROCEDURE TO ACQUIRE THE NON-QUOTA VISA
1. The Probationary Period
- First approved application grants you a Temporary Resident Visa for one (1) year.
2. The Ammendment from Probationary to Permanent Resident (13a)
- Application is made after the immigrant underwent the one-year Probationary Period.
- Applying immigrant has to follow the same procedures and provide the same required documents as submitted in the probationary period.
REQUIREMENTS:
must be filled out properly and completely.
Valid passport whose validity must extend at least six (6) months beyond the length of proposed stay in the Philippines.
Four (4) 2"x"2 size photograph taken within the last six (6) months.
Medical Certificate (F.A Form No.11) done at the Department of Quarantine with the following supporting documents in three copies.
NBI clearance or Local State Police Clearance. Original and 1-photocopy.
Proof of Financial Capacity.
Personal Appearance of the applicant for an interview by the consular officer.
Payment of Immigrant Visa Fee.
A duly notarized letter form the Filipino spouse petitioning the issuance of an immigrant visa to his/her spouse. (original and photocopy)
Proof of Philippine citizenship of Filipino spouse.
Marriage Certificate. (original and photocopy)
Additional Requirements for unmarried children under 21 years old
Birth of Certificate of the child
Proof of Filipino Citizenship of a parent.
Sworn Statement of Financial Support by parent

Additional Requirements for Natural Born citizens of the Philippines who have required foreign citizenship
- Proof of former Philippine citizenship (expired Philippine passport, birth certificate or baptismal certificate)
